MAISON RZ is the current expression of an independent handmade studio founded in 2020. Artist 若拙 / Ruozhuo creates candles, sculptural objects and decorative pieces inspired by vintage aesthetics, antique objects and the quiet beauty of everyday life.
Classical motifs, intricate textures and timeworn surfaces run through the work. Wax and plaster offer different ways to explore form, colour and the small details of making by hand.
